You all can take a lesson from Bam Bam here…He truly rose to the challenge and made his own version for all of us to behold and enjoy. You’d be hard pressed to find more passionate vocals than the Bammers delivers. But wait, Afentra responds with an equally rousing version that offers more room for booty shaking, if you’re so inclined. I think both boys in Wham! would be pleased with their Award winning takes.

This has got to be one of my all-time favorite versions of “Last Christmas” and I don’t make that claim lightly. Let me state why: 1) His rules for recording include “it should only take an afternoon to arrange, drink coffee and record it” and 2) It simply sounds like no other version we’ve posted yet. It’s maybe closest to Das Palast Orchester & Max Raabe but even that isn’t too accurate. Have a listen and find more on Tomas’ myspace.
