God bless you if you haven’t heard of Crazy Frog yet. To give you an indication of the sound, Crazy Frog originated as a 17-year-old mimicking internal combustion engine sounds over a strange animated creature, the whole package being dubbed “The Annoying Thing.” Somehow this spawned corporate sponsorship and slew of inexplicably popular singles in Europe.

BTH – Last Christmas
BTH – Last Christmas (Snowshaker Remix)

I’m not entirely sure how to describe BTH, I can’t even find their homepage, though I’d like to think they’re either employees or frequent diners at Big Town Hero sandwich shop. I think that BTH is the first band that sounds sad about recording “Last Christmas.” I imagine that the shallow falsetto comes from BTH’s desire to cover “White Christmas” or even “Little Drummer Boy.” Please don’t misunderstand, it’s not a bad version by any means, and though we don’t point fingers here, it’s head and shoulders better than some versions we’ve posted (and will post).

No idea where this remix comes from, but it’s not on the “Last Christmas” single available on amazon.com or and itunes that has additional remixes.

They don’t even seem to have fun in the video…
