Jamelia and Dice & K9

Jamelia confused me for a second, because this version comes from a CD single called “DJ/Stop” (you can find a used copy on amazon.com) but I guess it makes sense. If you want the DJ to stop, you go acoustic. She belts this out with a hint of tragedy. Well we feel for you Jamelia, give it someone special this year.

I don’t know; just another techno dance version. It’s labeled as Julsanger, but that’s just Scandinavian for “Christmas Carols.” If this is what the Christmas carolers are like in Norway, sign me up!

Julsanger – Last Christmas

Here we have another hip-hop version, which I personally prefer over the AllStars version. This one is musically more fun than just rapping over a slowed-down George Michael. And I’m pretty sure these guys are Filipino also.

Take a look at them in action! I particularly like the literal giving of “my heart.”

I wish you boys would post my kick ass anecdote about the George Michael impersonator who personally serenaded me on my birthday this year. When I say “personally serenaded me”, I obviously mean “was performing at a club called Strawberry Moons on November 16th where I happened to be”. BUT, and it’s a big but, it was my birthday, and he did ask for requests and I did request Last Christmas, BEFORE I knew of the genius of this site. Therefore, George Michael (the lesser known) sang a version of Last Christmas at Strawberry Moons, in Soho, London on November 16th 2007. And although I do not have the mp3 evidence, I do have a great pic on my crappy nokia. I just can’t figure out how to post it. Did that make any sense? Nope, none at all. Then my job here is done.

hello! this website is genius. we’re doing an office christmas competition to decorate our office section, and we got Wham! and last Christmas. Everyone changed the lyrics but said the song was too long and I was adamant that I could find a better and shorter version of the song. Well you guys made me look well cool. Although I totally hated this song until the German horn version by Das Palast Orchester & Max Raabe was posted!! THANKS!

i’m searching for a ‘classic’ version heard some days ago, singed by a woman with a deep bass voice, somewhat californian style of the end seventies, could anyone help me for? thanks by advance!
