The Dreamer and The Sleeper (aka Nick and Easton, though we aren’t sure which is which) released a fantastic holiday ep last year which includes, among other gems, a great cover of “Last Christmas.” Their fun acoustic take falls somewhere between Wham!‘s original and the Jimmy Eat World cover with a confidence many of the other artists lack in their versions. It’s quickly become one of my favorites, and out of 328 versions, that says a lot.
