Vocoder! Finally, I know. Swedish band Planktron’s version is quite the treat; it’s almost like a glimpse into the future. A future in which the peoples of United Earth zip around in their flying iCars and celebrate Christmas by rocking to covers of “Last Christmas.” These guys rule. Go to their site or myspace profile for more awesome stuff. These guys get one of the biggest overall recommendations from us. Seriously go get their stuff! All this praise obviously earns them a Magical Snowflake Award.

Planktron – Last Christmas
Wha… international-day-care-hip-hop?? This song is excellent proof for my thesis that children under the age of 8 are completely tone-deaf, yet can bust a rhyme like nobody’s business.
Lady Gunztah – Last Christmas
This is a complete mystery track. Who is Nussy? Is Nussy a band or an individual? Is this performed entirely on an electric bass? How can a one-man bassist band survive into today’s competitive musical marketplace? Nussy, why are you taunting us?!
